I made a video of how I made a ladder to access a loft in my cabin from logs on the property. I think its a decent method that results in an attractive and sturdy ladder.
Nice sawmill. I have one just like it. Quality built by a Amish guy in Missouri. Is that red ceder your sawing? I never realized how beautiful the wood is on the inside. Wish I had some growing on my land.

Pretty Handy Machines aren't they. Yeah, I have a lot of Eastern Red Cedar on my place. Never ending supply of posts. It does make a nice porch roof. I went up to the factory to pick it up, they were a working away in their overalls and hats but using mig welders, etc.
This is great! I have a similar shed as our deer camp, with lofts on either side, and I am covered up with Eastern Red Cedar (Taney County, MO). Great video, makes me think I can actually build a couple of these. Bought an inexpensive TimberTuff jig to try rough cutting the cedar, but the band saw sure makes quick work. Well done!
