Ruger 10/22 takedown Magpul stock

I just picked up one of the Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifles with the Magpul backpacker stock threaded stainless barrel. A bit of a novelty but really high cool factor my boys will think it’s the bomb diggity for sure for plinking.

It comes with 4 magazines three are stored in the butt stock

That is cool,I had a AR7 explorer but that is alot neater.I did kill my 1st coyote with my AR7 though.On bowsite there is a guy with a custom 45-70 takedown that is pretty neat

Any update on this? I rent a 12x12 cabin for the season in the aidrondacks for snowmobiling. My 600 acre hunting club with cabin is about 18 miles away. I got a shooting range there. Tried bringing my target rifle, but the sight is knob adjustable and moves zero. Not too wild about leaving it there either..........

Thinking the AR7 henry might not be too well made. Im not impressed with some of their offerings. Had a basic 22lr lever gun from them that had a horrible barrel. 8-12 inch groups ax 50 yards. Tried 2 scopes and the iron sights. Gun went back twice, 2nd time they said they would put a new barrel on it. Scratched and X under the barrel tucked in the magazine tube. Gun came back with the same X. Gave it away to a hunter safety instructor for his class when south paws show up.....
