Same here! It’s ridiculous how it’s gotten, 12K-15K for farm ground and 5K and up for rough ground. Very hard to just buy places to hunt on anymore.
Cash rent for farm ground is $300-$400 an acre and wouldn’t even start to cover a payment on high priced ground.
So many people wanting to build houses in the country have bumped 3-5 acre lot prices up to 80K plus if they can even find a farmer to sell them a bare undeveloped lot.

We have farm land going for 20+ an acre around here. But we're in the heart of Amish country and that's local land. Hunting land within an hour's drive is up over 7000 an acre. Glad I got in when I did.

Hope to pay it off and use it as collateral to be a mean son of a gun elsewhere...
