Live from the stand thread

This deer has let his guard down in the last 3 days. I've seen him in shooting lanes several times and this afternoon he came into the lowest and most secluded part of the food plot an hour before dark. He was starved to death and has broken off a G2 and a brow tine. I decided to let him go this time. He might even grow a bigger rack next year.

That would still be tough with the broken tines, good luck with him next year!

Good things come to those who wait....

Try throwing a rock in there. They'll come running out.

Congrats N.H.

Good work Native!

Holy Crap! Time to rearrange the wall.

Congratulations, Amazing animal.
Bet you’re really glad you passed old broken tines now

Wow, that's an amazing deer. Doesn't even look real.

Congrats NH! Incredible buck for sure!

Thanks so much everyone for the great comments. I will update my habitat thread with more pics and the story ASAP - hopefully tonight but tomorrow for sure. Two different scorers have measured his net typical score the same, so he is going to be a Boone and Crocket, even with a little shrinkage from drying. His gross score is 186+ and his net typical score is 174+. He had 14 scorable points and was a mainframe 12.
