Large Leaf Tree

Anyone know what this is? Found it growing along the road on my property. It has very large leaves that are velvety to the touch. The leaves are about volleyball to basketball sized. Picture this said it was a Princess Tree which is highly invasive. I want to be sure before I cut it down and spray it.

Yes, that's what it is (aka Paulownia tomentosa). In some locations it does become invasive. I cut them down when I find them.

That's a shame. They grow fast, and the wood is really interesting/useful.

It sure does grow fast. I never noticed it before and now it's 20 feet tall. I'll have to research and see if it's invasive here.

I can't keep them alive, but my climate is awful.
