Put out liquid fertilizer today on what was planted 3 weeks ago, right before the only rain we have had recently.

Just cereal grains and peas. No brassicas this year.

We planted about the same time. I'm just north of Red River. A little rain would go a long way right now.

Yes it would. Surviving on morning dew at this point. I can tell a big difference in wh as t gets shaded first in the afternoon.

I planted 2 acres in a cereal grain, clover, and brassica mix on Sept 7th in Fannin County. We lucked out and got a BUNCH of rain for a couple weeks right after planting.

I had a little growth when I stopped by there a couple weeks ago, but won’t be back that direction for another week. I wouldn’t mind a little more moisture, either.

Still no rain butt the food plot is still going. Definitely not thick and bountiful but enough that it will attract some deer when everything else dies off.
After brushing up my rifle deer blind I was sitting in the Rhino just looking over the food plot, enjoying the cool weather when these two yearlings came out for a little snack.

Got some good rain overnight and there is rain in the forecast Mon-Wed of this next week. Going to go spread out 50 more lbs. of elbon rye to try and fill in some bare spots. I know it's pretty late but going to try anyways.

We have had some good rain last few days. Plot should take off the next 10 days just in time for rut. Good luck

Awesome!

Talk about success!!!
