I got an email from a lady today, if any interest her email should be contained below otherwise I can provide it:

Thanks for getting back to me.

We definitely want to sell. We are going to try selling on our own without a realtor so any sharing you do to get the word out would be greatly appreciated.

Subject: Re: Habitat Restoration / hunting land

Thanks for the note, it sounds like an awesome property. Personally I have 3 properties right now and it's all I can handle, but if you do list it I have a pretty big network of people who are always interested I'd be happy to share the listing.
I'd recommend timberghost or a similar agency who specializes in recreational/habitat land to get it priced right. Unless you just want to dump it, a place like that is best to plan on 6-12 months to find the right buyer, and it also really helps if you all were willing to do a contract for deed that will open up your buyer pool more than anything else.
Good luck and again let me know if you list I'll get the word out

We saw your sign on land on French Road in Burnett County Wisconsin.
My family (I and three sisters) own
land in southern Douglas County Wisconsin that we are interested in selling. It is a 160 acre piece with a river running through, some fields, and mix of high and wooded areas. There is a building that is about 70 x 30 with cement floor and haymow that would make a great hunting camp. The property also has an old house with drilled well, and bathroom.
Great deer habitat!
Please let us know if you are interested.
Thank you

How's the wolf situation and hunting in that area?

You occasionally see one, but not like northern MN as far as I can tell. I only got 1 on my cameras in the last 12 months and he was a lone male. Way too many coyotes though, they are the real problem as far as I'm concerned, the packs move through and everything shuts down for a good week. Pelt prices are so low can't get anyone to come trap and I don't have the time to do it.

Thanks for the info. It's been quiet as far as reports go in that area. I was wondering if it was rebounding deer population wise and people were just staying quiet about it.
