Cummins Nursery’s new web-site is finally operational.

That's a really nice website.

Reading the write-ups on the trees I already have planted is cool. I never realized a galarina is a cross of gala and querina-florina. Probably should've been obvious.

Very nice! Seems like it was worth the wait.

Wow, I did a lot of searching last year to find what they put out on that web page. Well done !

It is very well done. I didn't need more trees, but ended up placing an order. They really sold me on Pixie crunch

I can't say how impressed I've been with Cummins over the years. Their stock is always great...I've only had a single one fail to thrive out of many, many dozens...and that one was immediately credited to my account. Truly a top-notch organization. I'm glad to see their new site reflect it.

I've been very happy with Cummins since Spring 2013. No problems.

Well said Knehrke, the 2021 Cummins website site is a first class production and a great resource for us fruit tree growers. Their in-depth description including the specific disease resistance of each of the major apple diseases for each tree is particularly helpful. And their company operation is five stars for sure.

They are good people and have great trees. I get to pick mine up in person as they are only about 35 minutes down the road. Usually hit their grafting and pruning classes this time of year just for something to do and always learn a little something.

The new Cummins site is VERY nice!
They have been one of the best most consistent quality with nursery bare root fruit trees I have bought from so far of the four or five I have used in the past seven years.

Recently I got on a red fleshed apple/crab kick and have been doing a lot of internet searching but was to late this spring for most this year (did find a couple Firecracker Crabs).
I ended up using the feature on Cummins new site for buying now for next spring 2022 which is handy. I was a little surprised they actually have customers pay a year in advance instead of reserving trees like they used too. And a lot of varieties are already sold out for 2022.

Anyway......down the rabbit hole I went and bought a few red fleshed along with about eight other varieties I didn’t have as I shopped through the awesome list of sexy apple trees!
I’ve got a little new ground which means more room, might as well get some new varieties to plant in it.

I recently got into Red fleshed apples myself. I have a Roberts crab and Redfield coming from Cummins. I'd love to find a Firecracker!

I ordered a couple Almata and a couple Geneva from Cummins, Roberts is still on my hit list to buy.
Found bare root Firecrackers for sale this spring yet at a nursery called One Green World, don’t know anything about that nursery at all and had to go with M7 rootstock. But when the addiction kicks in........got to go for it!

Just added a Redfield to my Cummins order...thanks!

Awesome! I forgot, I bought an Almata last year from Turkey Creek. Very healthy looking tree.

Almata is edible for me, but not exceptional. It tastes better than Firecracker or Winter Redflesh.

I do have a couple of open pollinated Almata seedlings and some seeds from last fall are just starting to emerge. I don’t think any are over 4 feet tall yet. No fruit.

That is super cool Art! I guess it's partly a novelty for me(redflesh apples), but I really like the look of your red cider and red applesauces.

They are more of a novelty for me also. I do put a couple in a box of mixed apples when I give them to someone.

They are supposed to be high in antioxidants.

There is some guy that likes to post skillcult videos about trying grow better tasting red fleshed apples on youtube. He seems to do a lot of crossing with one called grenadine
