Cuddelink 2020 GEN 2 version

I have a warranty question for 2 of my G series cameras. One has a bad/Faulty motion sensor, it takes pics constantly. I have another that the filter is stuck on night mode, it takes pinkish pics during the daytime. These cameras are over 2 years old and have taken a good amount of pics, I'm 99% sure they are out of warranty. My question is has anyone had these issues and sent in a camera not covered by warranty? Will it cost much to repair them? In the past I have sent cameras back not Cuddeback other brands. Most of the time they don't want to fix the camera they want to give me 50$ towards another new camera. Just wondering if anyone has ran into this situation

they typically go by run days and battery days when determining warranty, those two stats are stored in the camera, The stuck filter should be ables to be fixed, the bad sensor likely wont. They will either warranty it and fix or replace or offer you a trade in value but that wont be determined until you send them in with an rma.

My next question would be can I use the cell caps on another Cuddeback G series camera? The Cameras without cuddelink are 100$ cheaper.

yes you should be able to use the cap on another G
 
Recently changed my cell sevice to spectrum mobile. I do not see spectrum as an option when setting up to have pics sent to text. Any help here???

Set up a gmail account. Attach it to your phone. I have never had a problem.

Probably Verizon limiting data. I have gmail set on my phone, two clicks and I am looking at pictures.

if using the verizon address isnt working you will need to contact your cellular provider and find out what the image address needs to be for pic delivery , im suprised the verizon address isnt working.

I have a cam that is showing up on my email report but not in CAMP. I wanted to request a pic but it's completely removed from the CAMP report/device details/surveillance. The last pics it sent were from 9/20. If I look at the stats on my email report they haven't changed since 9/21....even the battery days are staying the same. I just changed the external batteries on 9/15 so I know they are good. Any idea what is going on?

The Camp report is now more accurate and more recent than the emailed version so go by the camp report over the emailed report, cameras can continue to show up on a report for some time after they drop off line since the report is not shown in real time. My guess would be that the cam has an issue with an sd card, batteries or the antenna but those are only guesses.

Ok thank you. Another oddity with this cam happened about a month or so ago. I changed the flash setting through CAMP and it was "pending" for over a week before it switched. I've also requested a pic from this cam several times and had the same response in CAMP...it'll say "pending" even though I'll get the pic that day. I've never had any problems with pic requests or setting changes with other cams, they've been almost immediate. I guess I'll have to pay it a visit and hope it's something simple I can resolve quickly. And of course it is in a fantastic travel corridor that gets all day movement and has 3 of my target bucks using it regularly and we are less than a week before the season opener...ugh.

bring another antenna with you and/or another camera and swap them out if its an important area , if you replace the antenna and it keeps having issues , call cs and set up and rma to send it back.
 
keep in mind if you try to change aspect on camp that function isnt working and it will say pending for many days , the other functions are all working at this time.

Sure thing...I'm going to switch it with another camera that's in a less important area and also swap the antenna out. Maybe even the SD card as well. Hopefully all that resolves any further issues. Thanks again.
 
I went and paid a visit to this cam. It was saying SD FULL on the screen, even though the card wasn't even close to being full. This isn't the first time I've had this happen on a G cam. In fact earlier this summer I had another G do the same thing I just don't recall it dropping off the CAMP report but it may have. I run SanDisk Ultra in the majority of my cams and I always make sure they've been formatted beforehand. Anyway I swapped the card and it was back to taking pics. I then swapped the antenna for good measure too. It was sending test pics and I was able to trigger it with my hand. This mornings report showed it has updated the battery days from 104 to 110 and everything seems to be working 100%. Hoping it stays this way until the season is done.

Ditto. The same has happened to me as well, but mined happened on one G and one J. I try to do a format through the PC and use the card in another brand of camera. I'm 50/50 for those cards working again.

Do you do the Quick Format or long format to clean the SD cards?
