The question has been asked on this forum several times. When does this end? What criteria are they going to use and at what point will they say it’s over. Today we have an answer from Cornell University. They are going to require 100% vaccination for the fall semester. All faculty, students and employees will need to be vaccinated to be on campus but, but, but everyone will still be required to wear high quality masks, continue to be distanced and be routinely tested in order to stay on campus. The answer from Cornell, it never ends. Just as we have suspected. I would point out the obvious, they can be 100% in class learning right now with all the mitigation requirements without the vaccine. The Vaccine doesn’t seem to mean a thing to them I guess .

I still want to know where all the flu cases, and deaths went? I just think it is also really fishy that the Covid charts follow a typical flu season, yet this year the flu charts are flat, yet the Covid chart looks just like what the flu chart should look like kinda ironic, once you look past what the CDC and government is feeding you.
Next thing I want to know is, they are saying the vaccine is only good for 6 months. So does everyone then need to go in for boosters every 6 months? How long is the immunity if you have had Covid? Why is it safe to travel if you have had the vaccine, but not safe to travel if your body has built antibodies from Covid?
To me it’s just another bs political propaganda, punish the majority to help the few.

I apologize if that is how I've come across. It was not my intention to ever insult anyone, nor to play the Enron game. Honestly, in all of my years in academic medicine, I've never quite had my ass handed to me so succinctly. Again, you have my deepest apologies - I can't (and won't) walk back the opinions that I've shared on here, but they were shared with the intent to educate, and in good faith - and nobody else appeared to be forthcoming with the perspective that I live every day. Good luck moving forward.

The vaccine data is on going and most likely will last much longer than that just like the antibodies do also. when I received mine they had data suggesting it would last to at least 3 months is all. As a pharmacist I consider 6 months good news as it persists longer than we thought initially.
I am going to agree people are losing interest in the vaccine very quickly if they aren’t seeing the benefits from it.
I also think the mask restrictions after vaccination are only being done to help keep the general unvaccinated population wearing them. Case in point if I walk into a store like I did this weekend and 3/4 of the population isn’t wearing a mask I am taking mine off however if I see everyone else wearing them much less likely to take it off.

I think Fauci said on one of the news shows this weekend that they knew it was good for at least 8 months. This must go back to people in the trials from last summer. That’s really all they can go on from when they first started giving the shots. After a year, they’ll know it lasts for a year etc. You would think natural immunity would be just as good as the vaccine. What I think is going on is that people who tested positive and didn’t have symptoms maybe never really have had it and didn’t develop antibodies. Or it was such a mild case that the immune response just wasn’t there. As far as the masks and still requiring them just so it looks good for other people. Well I think the cat is out of the bag on that one. The vaccines either work or they don’t. People are traveling, meeting and otherwise getting back to normal. With or without the CDC’s approval.

the mask after vaccination or infection is a big part of why I’ll continue to be resistant to it. “Not the only one” but what’s the point? I had COVID and lived. I still have to wear a mask. So now the news, the government, and private corps are pushing me to get a vaccine that only last three months, might make me sick and I still have to wear a mask! No thanks....
On top of that i still don’t trust that it’s fully vetted.
I get a kick out of the the virtue signalers saying it’s Trumper’s that are anti vax. There wouldn’t be a vaccine without Trump. If he was still in office I still wouldn’t want it because if Fauci likes it I automatically don’t.
my old crotchety neighbors had COVID, got both vaccines and still wear masks. They are still complaining about those that don’t.
That cracks me up. It’s a shame how frightened people are.
In NJ a mask still isn’t a choice. When it is a choice mine is gone. I want that right back!
I don’t knock anyone who wears a mask or wants a vax. If it makes you feel safe go for it. (If I were 70 I would).

what if after those 45 days you’re woman said. Well you need to wear a condom even though we won’t be co-mingling because it’s still not safe but wear one anytime we’re together?
If you still kept that woman she must be a 10 on the “hot crazy matrix!” Look it up Tiffany.
But how could you still believe her if after a year of the condom and no co-mingling she said you now need two condoms and we still ain’t back to normal relations and also now you need a shot so things can be normal next year, maybe.

There isnt an end to this game, and that is what puts me off, and I think many others. If we were told, get the shot, ad you wont have to wear a mask, or limit distancing, and life would be back to normal, at least then it would be tempting too. I, like Bill am not convinced the vaccine had enough testing, and I dont want to be a lab rat.

(not often, harmless, shouldn’t deter you from getting it by all reports)
And now there is a very very very small chance of a phenomena called covid toe......
I’m sure all medications can cause anything in someone. I remember hearing and ad for a medication that listed anal leakage as a possible side affect so this stuff is nothing..

If this thing was the golden ticket to halt the deadly global coronavirus pandemic, you'd think the exact opposite would be happening in the aristocracy of a totalitarian regime like the ccp. These guys should be first in line and making sure all their friends and family get it before the peasants. But the exact opposite is happening?
