Cool Pics -Let's See Them

Not a cool pic at all ! I only like them hanging around when somebody has a tag. To many close calls with them, everyone that bow hunts by me is packing heat now also. If he eats one of my new Spartans it's on!

Whew, that looks like a good size bear.

Got this one 2 nights ago...eating apples in my front yard...it might only be cool to me because I have never had a deer that size that close to my house....

A picture you don't get with IR/black flash cameras

Been getting lots of pictures of Mom and her cubs lately - guessing their den isn't far away. I'm traveling out to the property this week for a hunting trip. One of the things I need to do while out there is some camera maintenance; and my goal is to "touch" every camera. Looks like I will be packing some heat for this one.

I used one of those AI Colorization Apps to help identify the kittens - because their spots really blend in on the black and whites.

I planted a honey locust tree by my deer blind. I grabbed a seed pod that got hung up in a pine tree and got two seeds to germinate. I nursed this tree along in pots for two years before putting it in its forever place. Neighbor had one in his yard ( where I found the seed pod) and said the deer scarfed up those pods as fast as they hit the ground.

Im killing every one i see… they are an absolute mess once they start invading.
Deer only hit them for a week or so before leaving the pods to rot on the ground the rest of the season.

Ikeman,
Ruptured abscess?

Thats what i was thinking. In the full resolution version i have on my computer, it is obvious that the wound is pretty old due to the rotted/dehydrated edges on the tissue… and the video is opening day of archery.

This is floodplain and one of the most common dangers for even me is water moccasins on down logs and stumps. I kind if think it was an infected snake bite.

Only the second one of these I've ever seen. First one I only got a glimpse of. This one jumped around in front of me for 15 minutes. Finally had to squeak at him because I thought he was coming up the tree I was in.
