Colorizing black/white trail cam pics

I can see trail cam co's incorporating the tech right into their cams or web/pic portals.

Don't give them any ideas ;)

Seriously, this is super cool. I can't believe how believable they are. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like they're doing that a bit here: https://www.ezvizlife.com/uk/en/product/c3x/12674

In the dual-2 MP camera setup, vivid color imaging is accomplished using two lenses – one lens records the ambient brightness and the other captures color information. Then the two images are merged using EZVIZ’s own proprietary algorithm to create an image that is rich in details and realistic color.

Edit..I see there's quite a few companies with ones able to do color at night. Need a bit of light to really work good though. Moonlight even.

I don't see it on their website but on Facebook I noticed "Ai brings color to your black and white night time images." for Stealth Cam's Reactor: https://www.stealthcam.com/reactor/

Hmmmmm......

It's also mentioned for their Fusion X. Probably others.

The way it's mentioned on Facebook...looks like something done via their app.
