Best cheap cell cam?

My daughter is looking to buy her boyfriend a couple cell cams, and wants something decent, but not expensive. I haven’t been following the cell cam world lately, and figured this would be the best place. I know I can use the search function, but I want recent opinions, not ones about 2 year old cameras.

Just setup 2 this week, so far so great. Cancelled my MoultrieMobile as a result. Durability and long term reliability tbd

I would say Tactacam as well, unless color at night pictures are preferred, then probably Cuddeback- double barrel/white flash. I'm not aware of any "cheap" white flash cams out there. Tactacam may come out with one but who knows when.
