ATV Spreader and Wisconsin

Combining 2 thoughts here! Feels like forever since I've done anything here except scan the info. Anyway, I've always felt ATV spreaders were all about 250.00 and cheap or 800 and above in price for quality. Just purchased, assembled, and used the Swisher ATV Commercial 15 gallon spreader in the 450 range. This thing is impressively heavy duty and an easily adjustable spreader. Nothing flimsy, even the gate. It definitely bridges that gap in price, but I won't have to baby this thing and hopefully it will be long lived!

Also, I just got back from my first visit ever to Wisconsin. Friends who always get a house in Door County every year usually just have my wife up for a girl's week. This year I was invited early for a few days as a couples trip. (She of course, is still up there for girl part of it!). Wow, what a pretty part of the country. Such lush ag fields and great habitat. Of course, I was constantly looking to see what weeds you have etc. I'm such a boring guest:-). Anyway, don't think the GA boy in me would care to shovel snow, but I definitely envy you at this time of year!

We definitely have the 4 seasons in WI. The shortest one seems to be summer...lol. You just have to learn to love the winter sports, skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc...
