Antler King PH testing Kit.

So first, let me say this product isn’t a soil test replacement tool. This strictly gives the user a rough estimate of where their soil PH is. It will not tell you what soil nutrients are available.

I have used this test kit for 2 years. It comes with 4 ph test strips. Roughly $15. Plus you need distilled water. I find that this kit seems pretty accurate. First you take your core sample just like any other test. Then you take a plastic cup, put the soil in that cup, mix with distilled water. Mix the two so it creates a slurry. Let it sit for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes just take a ph strip and dip in it. The strip will turn a certain color and match it to the chart provided.

I was able to do 7 plots today and now I have good understanding of where my plots PH stand and a rough estimate of how much lime I need to add for each. For 7 plots the tests cost Roughly $30.

I wanted to share the experience with everyone. I certainly don’t endorse skipping true soil samples but I also understand as plotters, soil tests can be extra costs that some have a hard time justifying, especially for just a food plot. It seems like a solid tool for finding soil PH. A product worth sharing with everyone.

Thanks for the postive review.
