A look at the orchard

I got the opportunity to get to our camp yesterday. The first thing I did was to take a walk to see how the different apple varieties were doing. Although they were planted primarily for wildlife, we plan on harvesting a few for us to enjoy. We actually have two different orchards, one planted in 2008 and the newest from 1012 to 2014.IMG_5199.JPG

Looks awesome hope ours is that good someday.

Very nice! Looks like some great apples. Do you spray those trees at all?

Turkey Creek, I started with Imidan and Captan at 90% pedal fall, then switched to Carbaryl and Sovran about July first. Tried to spray every 2 - 3 weeks but with the weather and busy schedule wound up missing sprays several weeks.

Really nice orchards. Do you lime and fertilize your trees ?? Excellent pix and thanks for sharing !! N.Y., right ??
