(Reposting to this year's thread thanks to tip from b116757)

I have a Krymsk and Marianna rootstocks, and want to graft one of them with apricots and the other with plums. Here in OH, I need to use late-booming or frost-resistent cultivars, so I was wondering if anyone had the following scions: for apricots, I am looking for any of Zard, Mormon (Chinese), Harcot, Harglow, and Montrose. For plums, I am looking for Edda, Willingham Gage, and Mirabelle de Nancy or Geneva Mirabelle. In return, I could only offer WS8-10 (Barbara’s Blush) persimmon this year, and any number of Chicago Fig cuttings (available until they likely die in February when really low temps arrive here). But if you don't need them, I'd be more than happy to pay S&H for any scion sticks you might have from the above list. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for any apple/pear for deer draw power. I don't have anything to trade but good to purchase. I have some pear rootstock from Cummins and apple from blue hill to give grafting a try.

I will have some WS8-10 (Barbara’s Blush) persimmon scion (need to prune some branches that cracked under the fruit last season). Let me know through PM if you are interested.

Thanks! I'm hopeful the handful or so I grafted with Barbara Blush you sent last year will do well. I know they put on more growth than my seedling rootstock had in the 2 years prior with a couple of them. I should have about three of the Zima Khurma you sent as well if they make it through the winter. I haven't even tasted a persimmon yet, so I'm hoping to add some other varieties. I appreciate it though! If you ever need to add on to your list and I can help out with pears, my limited apple stock or hopefully with future persimmons, just let me know.

Ah sorry, I did not connect your user name with our last year's grafting adventures! I must say this past season was the first year when Barbara's Blush produced a full crop, and I am a bit less enamored with it: its branches were extremely drooping, to the point of some branches literally wiping the ground, and a couple snapped. And so the tree was not nearly as pretty as in its first two years of fruiting. Zima Khurma looked much prettier, but this was its first year with any fruit, so don't know if it becomes droopy as it ages (Barbara's Blush was very pretty before also). I am attaching a picture of Barbara's Blush as of mid-November, you see I tried to prop up some branches but was not very successful.

Do you happen to have any Rubinette apple? (I don't have any apples to share but would be happy to purchase).

No worries. Prettier in terms of Autumn colors or growth habit? I assume BB being American will get much larger. It's certainly loaded in the picture. Perhaps it will correct yhe growth habit with age.
