    RIP to the biggest POS

I had a drone spray some stuff. They were using four gallon tanks and it took 9 tanks to do seven acres. He used a combination of gly, tryclorpyr, and 24d. They sprayed in Oct and there wasnt anything growing back until the following July

    RIP to the biggest POS

It depends on a lot of variables. I have read where gly can be applied with as little as 10 gal per acre. I havent had the guts yet to try it that fast, but it would be great to get five acres out of a 55 gal tank. I cant believe you would get complete coverage at 10 gal per acre

    RIP to the biggest POS

I get 2.5 acres out of my 55 gal sprayer. I think gly recommends no less than ten gal of water per acre - but that would be moving pretty fast.

    RIP to the biggest POS

I have a plethora of one and two gallon hand sprayers, a couple of backpack sprayers, a 25 gal fimco (6 yr old) and a 55 gal pto. I wish I had a 150 gal pto for the 65 hp tractor - but I need to stop this nonsense of buying a piece of equipment for every job. I use my 55 gal pto on a 28 hp jd by...

    Good news - bad news?

Supposed to get down to 25 here. The pears are dime size, there are small peaches. BB size plums and crab apples. Most of the regular apples in full bloom. Muscadines have buds but no leaves as do the persimmons. Blackberries are just about to burst into bloom. I chose the blackberries to try...

    New Food Plot

Ridge tops are notoriously dry. I live in SW AR, so we can plant a fair bit later than you - but I wait until early to mid Oct to plant in hopes of cooler temps and maybe some rain. As such, I dont have time for brassicas. I limit my planting to grains - wheat or rye, and white clover. The...

They have lowered the temp prediction to 25. If that happens, everything will be lost. Fruit trees are the devil

    Crimson Clover tips

Deer at my place dont feed on it much - but they dont feed on much of anything in my food plots in spring. Everything in the woods and fields is green. The crimson clover is over with and gone come summer - when the deer really hit the clover hard

    Good news - bad news?

28 forecast here in a couple nights. Dime sized pears, baby peaches, bb size plums and apple trees blooming. Lost everything last year but the apples. I did lose two AR black apple trees last year in the heat and drought. If the freeze gets them this year, it will make 4 yrs in a row

    Fruit Tree Spray Frequency

My kiefer pears will make without spraying. Problem is, they are early bloomers and typically get frosted. I am not really a fan of eating a lot of fresh pears. I have a couple of the fuyu persimmons. They got killed back pretty good last year from a late freeze. They are my only fruit tree that...

    Fruit Tree Spray Frequency

Coons get a lot of mine. I have a high deer density, but so far, in two years - they have not decided to eat any apples. I have had some years I have lost all the apples on the two producing trees I have due to what I think is brown spot. I have two plums that make fruit, two peaches, and a...

    Fruit Tree Spray Frequency

Most fruit tree spray directions call for spraying every ten to fourteen days and sooner if it rains. This time of year, it might rain every three of four days. Is is ok to spray that much and is it necessary. I have peaches, apples, plums, and pears and something usually infects all of them...
