ATV pull behind rough cut mower

Agree with Swisher issues. When I purchased mine they advertised a 14.5 hp engine and I received mine with a 12.5 hp. The trailer tongue & hitch were a poor design. This was 6-7 years ago, maybe they have upgraded the design to be more robust.

    Tractor safety question

Most accidents happen when you are in a hurry or are tired where in both cases your not fully focused. Many can happen because there is not a good safety routine in place. A few years back one of our machinists' pushed his shirt sleeves up rather than rolling them. he was working on a turning...

    S.T.Fanatic's Land Tour

Heavy bases, lots of junk, well formed heavy rack. When it looks like their belly is evem or below their chest, that is a mature buck. I agree 4 yo. Obviously you have to gauge this with other bucks and what is the norm in your area, but I think he is a shooter!

Herron Ridge … Trials, Tribulations, & Some Good Stuff

Possible, but I don't think likely as I didn't see any broken bones. Closet property line to the north is 550 yards. that road is a dead end gravel road with only one house and an older guy who can't see well. This neighbor wouldn't tell me if he shot one that came on our property. He arrowed...

Herron Ridge … Trials, Tribulations, & Some Good Stuff

Well one of the up and coming stars has bit the dust. My dog Thor and I were out on a Sunday morning walk. At one point he raised his nose up into the wind and took off. When I caught up with him, he was head deep into the gut pile enjoying a very nasty morning snack. I estimate the buck was a...

    Found an old well

We have an old well on our property. Approximately 2' diameter, stone lined, about 15' deep. Our house and barn were built in the late 1800's and the well served the livestock and house. There is also an artesian stone lined water tank below our house on one end that was designed to catch rain...
