Genesis no till drills

Just a heads up to anybody looking for one. They now have the small seed box as an option. Ballpark of $3,000.00 to have it added. Puts it right in the price range of a Great Plains or Landpride but they can be lifted with a smaller tractor. Oh why are my hobbies so expensive.

For those prices, I’d be more than happy to try the SAYA or the Woods FPS series. At some point, I have to realize I’m just planting seeds for a deer than did just fine before I came along.

I have been trying to justify a drill for many years just haven’t been able to do it. I still plant everything with a tiller and earth way bag spreader. Beans corn clover rye you name it very seldom do I not have a great stand.

Same here. I love the thought of a no till and would love to have one but at some point I have to say enough. I could start a planting business and make enough money to off set the cost but not sure if I really want to go that route. I already have a harrow and a tiller so I could come out a lot cheaper just getting a good used 7-8ft drill.
