Cuddelink 2020 GEN 2 version

What about a long format on a card used in another Cuddeback? May have to wait otherwise.
i would clear it in the camera with the issue before you arm the camera and test the link if you use one form another camera. Also clear the internal memory on the camera with the card removed .

Having an issue with the link cam. Or maybe it's the Home cam. Updated the firmware on both cameras(a week ago) and they both worked fine. Changed some camera settings via the Cell Management web-page. A few days go by and they never got updated- just said "pending", but the reports kept coming in with battery levels ok etc. Wanted to move the link cam yesterday so turned it off and moved it...turned it back on and changed the settings right on the camera, checked the signal/connection level and it said "good 99"(it's only 30yds away), and had my pic taken a few times before I left and waited for the pics to come in. Did not touch the Home cam but walked in front to get some pics.

Pics come in, the only ones from the link cam are those of me before I turned the cam off. Figured maybe the others would come in with the next batch..I had to get going. No pics from the link the rest of the day. Last night I set the link cam to take a picture..never received one. I am getting pics taken by the Home cam. Got the report this morning and it's showing everything is ok. Looked at the settings on the Cell Management page and now the link is showing the updated settings(rememmber- I did those on the cam itself) but the Home still says "pending".

I should get to the place again tomorrow. Plan to take the batteries out of both, drain the power out, and restarting(but not resetting) them..unless there's a better option to try.

Edit..filter stuck maybe? It's not showing any pics queued.

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago. This is what I did: went back to the web management page - selected the prior settings. Every camera went back “to current”. A few hours later, I came back made the changes again and then in short order they replicated across the network.

The Home cam still says pending after doing that. However, not only did the link cam change the settings I changed and went to "current", it also took a pic I had it set to take. So thanks for that if that's what did it, will see if it continues to take pics. I plan to get to the cams tomorrow so will test that cam if no pics/ nothing has triggered it and just change the settings right on the Home if it still hasn't updated. Gave it nearly a week to update before yesterday.

My home cam did that for a bit afterwards. Maybe try to make that setting change now.

just to make sure, you are saving when making changes on camp ?

Yep. Under "Device settings"..doing each cam separately and saving. It's just very odd that the link/remote cam was showing the settings-changes going thru but not sending those pictures(to the Home of course..maybe the Home just isn't accepting them?), but the Home cam was sending its own pics but still saying "pending" with the settings/changes I requested. Will see what happens with the early morning report etc before I get to the cams later in the day.

@gonzalezeb yeah I did that again earlier. Also having the link cam take another pic to see if it sends overnight.

Link cam seems to be working fine. May point it downwards a bit. 20210321_234149.jpg

Just looked at the camp settings and the link is once again "current" and the Home is still "pending".. Will check again in the morning.

there should only be one cable that has brown on one end and black on the other, that is the cable you want to use. the other two, (one being short )have black on both ends and are designed only for use with the old g or C series cameras. If you need more of the cables with black on one end and brown on the other call Cuddeback CS and they should be ableto get what you need, let them know they didnt come in the 3358 box .
Hi John:
Had to wait until I made it to the farm to make sure I was not crazy (still debatable). But a picture is worth a thousand words, showing two cords with black on one end, and brown on the other. Somewhere along the line I've received the cord on the left (black cord between the ends), which works perfect between the newer cameras and my older 6D boosters. The new cord on the right (brown cord between the ends) will not go deep enough into, or lock into the older booster. You can see the difference in length before the lip, and missing locking nipple, in the first photo.

I circumvented this by trimming the lip off a few of the newer cords, so it would seat deeper into the booster, but would prefer to have a few more of the other cord, with the locking nipple, so they can actually lock into the booster. Is there a part number for this cord?

Thanks, Steve.

Update..changed things right on the Home cam..it's no longer saying "pending"..and both cams are taking pics and being sent. Didn't change any sd cards or anything else.

Glad you got it working! As I mentioned, this happens to me every so often. I've been meaning to document it for Cuddeback as I'm sure it is more of a replication error from the camp web server to the systems that queue the configurations changes over the air. Every so often, I'll want every camera to take a pic for me (just to make sure things are working - I have 1 or 2 camera that never send me pics...so once a month or so I queue a picture)...I would say 1 out of 4 times I have this issue. Because I've figured out a work around I hadn't been motivated to do much more about documenting it. But given others are having the same issue...I'll try to capture everything next time.

The cord without the slot alignment is for use on the older G cameras and fits nothing else. The new 3624 which replaces the 3358 comes with this cord and a cord with two 90 deg connectors and will not fit the older 3358..

Can I buy "this cord" separately, and is there a part number for it? I have every cord I've ever received in a storage box, and do not have enough of these to fill my needs. Need about 4 more. Thanks!

You can buy it. If you want the cable with twist lock on both ends, the one with straight on one end and 90 deg on the other that’s the C1/C2. The metal is Model 9070 and the standard is Model 9069. The one with two 90 deg is the C2/C2 Model 9071.

Trlblzr3 & Cheech53:
That information and chart was very helpful, and I was able to describe what I needed to Cuddeback support this morning and the proper cords are being sent my way.
Thanks so much, Steve.

Have a Full SD card message on one of my J-2 remote cameras. Looked up how to erase all pics on card, which in the manual it shows to go through the command menu to battery. Then when I get to reset, I hit confirm, with the Busy message. Then it showed 9999MB. I went through these steps several times and it still shows Full.
I was expecting to get a way to select Erase SD card or Images somewhere.

Most likely a corrupt card. You can try reformatting on computer or replace.
