How Do you mark your farm's Boundary corners?

A good 3 year old buck
Having a survey done and I was curious how you all are marking your corner Boundaries.

Thanks all, Yote

I used 6 foot tall heavy duty metal stakes I painted orange to mark the corners.

My surveyor pounded in 3/4 or 1 inch schedule 40 pipe on corners. These only stick outta ground couple inches so I went back and stuck 5 ft fiberglass white stakes into the pipe. The kind they sell to mark your driveway for snow plowing in winter

T- posts. I also like to drive in a 1 ft long piece of t post flush with the ground so if the visible t post goes missing, I can find the buried one with a cheap metal detector

Talk to the county, if there isnt a local survey marker, they may put in their own pin to mark it.

When I’ve had anything surveyed they put in rerod at the corners that stick up about a foot. I pound in 1’4” angle iron down about 3 ft and leave it stick up 2 ft. Kind of a backup I paint the iron red. It lasts quit a few years before repainting. Then I put in a pressure treated post, round or square to put posted signs on.

I marked all my property lines with tposts spaced out about every 20 yards. I painted them red and blue with the corner posts striped. Took some time and sweat but the end result was nice and should last a very long time.

My grandfather worked in a gravel pit at one time and they had a small train than ran across the property. Somehow he cut some of the old rail into 10-foot sections and buried it about 5 foot deep at each corner. It makes it pretty easy to find the corners.

An 8' T post driven in on corners of property with about four feet of yellow corrugated field tile dropped on it.

^^^ or some pvc pipe over the steel post.

I mark mine by turning a T post upside down so wing it up.If line is in timber I drive a post outside at edge of timber straight out from a upside down post in the timber. We paint red for property and I always have surveyor put pin in at every point and make sure they show that there is a pin there on the survey.
