Yes car is seasonal as we have cedar trees fairly close to our orchard. Besides pruning and fertilizing, I’ve never sprayed the trees. I was thinking that Enterprise was resistant? I also have a Honeycrisp that has been affected and hasn’t grown at all but is alive.
The deer usually leave our corn alone until late Oct. My goal is to have food available after our renter harvests all the crops. The beans and peas are literally ate as soon as they grow out of the ground. We have a 2 acre plot, and 3 one acre plots.
I have 4-5 acres to plant on our 160 acre farm. Beans, oats, peas get hammered and are gone by Oct. Turnips and radishes don’t get hit until Feb. I’m starting to think corn is the best option possible, what are your guys thoughts?
