MidwayUSA strikes again.

I don’t know why I order from MidwayUSA this time my order was sent to some other town in Kansas been there since the 6th of January emailed MidwayUSA today about the issue and got a reply that their shipping arrangements are experiencing a 17day delay???? I could of walked to Columbia Mo and back faster than their shipping arrangements can move a package.

I have had great luck with them.... But I don't get things frequently from them either.

I have great luck with Midway. Better than Amazon. Problem might not be Midway but the shipper. Fed Ex and UPS are absolutely horrible in my area right now. I recently had a UPS shipment email pop up on my phone as delivered at 12:30, left at customer’s front door. I was raking leaves in the front yard at that time. No UPS truck to be seen. Went through the refund process, got the credit back on my credit card, re-ordered, and receive the product in about ten days. A week later, I received another one. Turns out the first one I got was the original order UPS claimed to have delivered to my front door. And Fed Ex - bless their heart - lost a shipment of mine for 400,000 custom screws I had been waiting eleven months to get. Had to turn around and place another order with a high break in charge - to break in the line of existing orders so I could get mine quick. The original screws are found two months later and I am too far into the second order to cancel.

I could go on and on - but the best one - I have a 4’x4’ cedar box with a roof on it at the start of my driveway so deliveries can be left in the box instead of bringing them to the front door and dealing with my dog. Three feet from the nice cedar box with metal roof is a reflective sign that says “UPS AND FEDEX DROP BOX”. One day, there was a box on the ground at the base of the sign and not in the cedar box. Didnt think that much About it. Next day, same thing. Next day, I am in the yard and see the delivery man place a box at the base of the sign. I walk out there and ask him why he is putting the box on the ground and not in my pretty cedar delivery box three feet away. He said, “your sign says fed ex and ups drop box, so I drop the box at the sign like it says.”

The delivery system from ocean freighters all the way down to rural mail carriers is now in a state of disarray.

I have always had good luck with them on the orders I've placed. Sorry to hear about the bad experience.

I order quite a bit from them and ever now and then this BS happens they use some goofy smart post shipping where UPS delivery is used for part of the shipping then it’s handed over to USPS for final delivery this is a questionably reliable system.

I see the UPS guy at the post office daily

I've always had good luck with Midway.

Good customer service in my experience.

Saw today where some thieves in Oklahoma got caught with thousands of amazon packages

Midways always been decent for me as well... I like Brownells site search engine for looking for stuff far better but as for ordering and shipping they have been very comparable.

Shipping comes down to the driver a lot too... after a couple years of not always getting my UPS packages I just got into the habit of hoping into the truck and going over neighbors on the next block and picking up my packages if they didnt show up - especially the "delivered" ones. Usually I knew when I was getting packages due to tracking and once delivered I would just stop at the neighbors first. What finally made me snap was when the house sat vacant for a year and he was dropping off certified packages there. I now have the UPS terminal Managers personal number for their Eau Claire location in my phone as "UPS Amy" since then, the first name basis relationship has improved our UPS divers address accuracy.

I tracked this package I live in Fort Scott KS they sent it to Fort Riley KS. See what they did there easy mistake. It sat in Fort Riley for 6 days now it shows in Knoxville TN????? Not returned to KC distribution center??? It’s clearly making a world tour at this point. My work buddy ordered from them a while back and his package somehow managed to make to Los Angeles CA before making it to his place.

I have had west coast tracked packages go through Minneapolis St Paul assuming the airport, drive by Eau Claire Wi continue down to Illnios then go up to Milwaukee to Greenbay then over up into the UP then back over to some place in Minneapolis St Paul only to be shipped to Eau Claire for deliver to my town back 30 miles west of there.

And then I have ordered online - out of state, snowmobile studs on a Monday morning and gotten them the next day.... go figure

You better call Larry Potterfield.

I also never had any issue's with Midway, always got things fast
I honestly don;t think its them that is the problem here, , where I think odds are the real issue is its the shipping company's themselves , something Midway has no control over,
right now all them shipping company's are getting hammered with over loads of shipping, and having a hard time finding reliable workers. and a lot of it comes down to locations, some places have mroe workers and are more reliable today than others for like reasons, , poor work ethic's in so many today and lack of enough workers period!

not defending them, just being honest,
as an example
the USPS is so back up here, folks are waiting 7-10 days for there basic mail, yet other places are not having problems.

this whole world is going down the crapper if you ask me, and alot of it is simply due to people just don;'t want to work anymore, or work reliably and consistently!
or for realistic wages for the task at hand!

too many soiled brats out there if you ask me!

things will get worse before they MAYBE ever get better , !

This is what happens when Gov't pays people to not work ... suppliers, shippers, etc. can't get the # of workers they need to meet customer demand.

Worse yet its an all out looting of your shipments, in parallel with the laziness is the unchecked crime:

thats not garbage thats looted packages from rail cars in LA.

Pure BS that this is allowed to happen in our country....

I saw that news story, crazy to me thst was all only 30 days worth. Start cutting theirs hands off when they get caught instead of a misdemeanor and that problem would correct itself in a few short days I bet.

Midway strikes agian!

I ordered 2000 bullets for hopefully a prairie dog hunt in the next year or two. The package has been sitting in St. Louis since the 19th it’s already past delivery date. I don’t know what it is Midway does with their shipping that causes these issues but I think it’s their “Smart Post” where from what I gather UPS picks up all their packages and hands them off to USPS at some point????

Shipping in the last couple weeks have been rediculous for me. I can get a package in a day or 2 from FedEx or UPS but when it involves USPS it can be a couple days, or a few weeks.
