Glad to see you have the fever. You may want to remember that pears like apples do really well when trimmed and trained to a central leader. You want those trees tall, strong and with a first row of laterals above the browse line.

Thanks for the tips WTNUT. The soil is really poor where there at. I'm just happy their green. They've been in the ground for 4 years.
