Velvet or Not?

It almost looks like this buck is out of Velvet already, when none of the others are yet here. You guys tell me?

I think it looks like he is still in velvet, or all his tips are blunt.

I got a pic of one in NEMO Monday that was out of velvet. Had one 10 days ago with a big shred of velvet hanging off the main beam like it was about ready.

agree i say still in velvet although it is getting very thin......they shed the 1st week of September around here typically
