Soybeans wastedI Guess

dang that looks dry, maybe the corn can deal with the dry better and the beans are waiting on more rain.
was very dry at planting, but the last week it’s had plenty of rain.

Turkeys ate the seed before it germinated?

100lb spread out in 2 acres? Possible I guess.

2 years ago I did 50# on 1 acre and MAYBE had 12 plants grow. There was plenty of sign of turkey activity though.

I too would be interested to see what you find out when you go dig around. I’d take a hoe, steel tooth rake or a small shovel and go on a seed hunt. If the seeds are there and haven’t sprouted (or haven’t broken through the ground yet) you will find them. I just drilled 4 acres of Eagle beans next to 5 acres of Real World Beans to get a comparison this year. I had really good luck with Eagle beans last time I planted them and hoping for the same again this time.

Didn’t get a chance to go put the fence up last weekend due to rain, but might run check on it today after work and should have fence up this weekend. If I go today I’ll dig around. This is weather permitting thought as it’s supposed to rain. Have had a good amount of rain last couple of days.
