I learned my lesson not to tube a tree mid way through summer, I checked it a week after tubing and the leaves were literally cooked, the tree is a grafted early golden persimmon, it has been slow to take off in its second year is why I decided to tube it.

I actually bartered for this tree after meeting a fellow grafter on a construction job near Pittsburgh Pa, I traded food plot seed for the tree, so I was happy to see it coming back to life.

I have never tubed a tree and I know some folks have success with doing so.....however I have seen/heard of some horror stories of doing so as well. Glad to see it seems to have rebounded nicely for you.

Glad to see it's holding on for you.
