Bill, I have a pic somewhere of a unicorn from a few years ago that I believe was a doe. The horn was small at the base and about 4 inches long.

I've never seen anything like your deer. If that is a horn starting I can't wait to see it later.:)

But I wonder if that could be a tumor???

I kinda think you're right tumor or something. Lots of doe looking characteristics in the sequence of pictures.

Sure looked weird though.
