Last fall I planted a variety of cereals. I don’t remember what I planted where and the one plot where I will be posting these pictures from was two different varieties but I don’t remover which. I’m thinking rye and barley. The plot is 99% one variety just not sure which kid it is. I’m leaning toward barley but not sure. The weed suppression was unbelievable.

The skinny seed head is rye. The short fat one does look like barley

I'm liking it. Smothers fantastic and doesn't get as tall. I left a strip between my sugar beets and non gmo mix for late summer TNM brassica. Curious to see what it looks like when its dried down.
