Alternative to Imidan 70 WP?

BobinCt

For those that use an insecticide for spraying apple and pear trees, what are you guys using besides Imidan 70WP for insects? Has it been been effective ? Imidan is very hard to buy now and I can’t find it anywhere . An alternative to this would be great. Thanks

Malathion, Avaunt, Zeta-cypermetrhin, Actara. All are used by orchardists

Thx

Plum curculio is my main issue, and I use malathion on them, which seems to work fine. Sevin is supposed to get the job done too, but can thin apples if you apply it too early.

I got my hands on Imidan 70, but after discovering it had a 7 day RE-ENTRY period, decided it was way too hot for my backyard.

I still have a fairly good supply of Imidan but I have also used these in the past...
