Some guys don’t like the ballistic tips but I’ve had great luck with them.

I shoot 120 grain bullets out of my 7mm rem mag. Not 30 cal but .284 is close. Not many deer have run off. Most pile up right there.

LOL. Mine was exclusively for Bradford county PA in the early to mid 80’s. 6 guys in camp, 5 of us had 760’s and one had a 35 Winchester.

Natty Mine is also chambered in 30-06. I hand load for my 7MM because I could never find any factory accurate loads. The 760 shoots Remington 150 grain pointed soft points perfectly. Two holes in about a nickel at 100 yards. Which isn’t bad for a pump gun. Worth a try out of yours.

Yeah vortex lets in lots more light then the original Bushnell from the 80’s.
