    Whitetail Crabs 2026

It's not perfect but it will work. I'm having a family member pick them up from my house and bring them tomorrow when they're coming to join us.

Rolling Basket: Anyone Use One? Pros and Cons

I bought one off of a Perfecta Cultivator two summers ok. It works decent to break clods if the ground isn't too wet. Works better with dry dirt with dead roots.

    Trees orders?

Down here in SE PA it's getting pretty green. Two Blue Hill apples I planted last spring are already leafing out. Some forsythia way back there is blooming. I really blame the month of March. It's been so erratic the last 5ish years. Summer like warmth mixed with freeze and the occasional snow.

I'll be there tomorrow for planting this weekend. Can you turn up the heat in Lycoming county?

    Tree Tube Recommendations

Buy 5' or 6' tubes. Everything that came out of the 4' tubes we used got browsed off. TreePro and TubeX are both good. I think BlueX "tubes" should be avoided. Sometimes you can find gently used tubes cheap. Check FB marketplace. If it's hot where you are, the vented tubes are a better choice...

Consider products like this for best results. High porosity mixes are a good second choice. https://lambertpeatmoss.com/en/our-products/?c=lm-bk-peat-bark https://www.pthorticulture.com/en-us/products/growing-media?f%5B0%5D=components%3A586 https://www.sungro.com/professional-products/bark-mixes/

    Trees orders?

Most growers consider it a lower quality product. Promix, Sungro and Lambert are commercial brands.

    Trees orders?

I use a bark base potting mix for tree seedlings. Avoid Miracle Grow potting mixes if possible.

    Whitetail Crabs 2026

His reply to me was 3/2, so it was still probably pretty cold. In the SE part of PA, lawns are showing green and the forsythia is popping flowers. I'd be surprised he couldn't get some trees out of the ground this week.

    Whitetail Crabs 2026

Did anyone get their trees yet? Do you normally get a shipping notification/tracking info? I let Terry know I needed my trees before Friday of this week and he acknowledged that. It's Monday and I don't have any tracking info, if he sends it. I am in PA, so it's probably only a day or two to get...

    Bulk Native Seed Dealers?

Personally, I'd avoid triclopyr on stiltgrass. I just want to kill the stilt grass and leave anything woody that might regenerate. Something that's grass selective like Clethodim is a better choice if you're not trying to nuke everything. Triclopyr is great for barberry.

I think I have a chance for success due to logging. Left over tops and slash could protect new growth.

    Can't have nothing

If they don't make fruit this year, it will give them another year to put on just vegetative growth, so not a total loss

There has to be somewhere that has better pricing than Sheffields. You can likely spray the stilt grass with a grass selective herbicide and not bother the ROD.

    Buying a Suppressor in 2026

I have good things to say about the SilencerShop app and Kiosk experience. I waited about a year for the approvals, twice. I'm glad to see they have sped up the processing times to something reasonable now.
