Those see through rings were notorious for cracking. I was shooting one of the family 760s and swapped it to Talley ring/base all in ones and a Leupold VX-3 1.5-5 scope. It's nice and quick shouldering. What are people paying for those old see through rings.

Has the testing been that inconsistent that users will be warned manual intervention is likely required? If that's the case, I'll suggest a user/account approval to push OTA firmware and possibly the ability to schedule it. (For when I can be at camp)

I believe push firmware updates require a Gen3 firmware release to work. I'd manually update them.

Have you tried muzzle breaks or suppressors where possible? I was shocked how much a suppressor reduced recoil on a new 30-06.

I'd try using some Evaporust on those threads. I'd be careful to only put it inside the barrel and not on the camo.

Same for me. It tends to happen on one camera we have at the bottom of a hill along the creek.
