    Cuddelink L series Q & A

Does anyone know if you can use the old G and K cell antennas on the new L series Tracks cameras? I damaged one of the antenna on my tracks camera clearing brush.

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

I have 3 sun/shade solar panels out right now that have been out for 55 days so far and no issues. I use Rayovac High Energy batteries in the cameras as well (these are the only batteries I use and I buy them in bulk).

You can also use the big solar panels that are good for shady areas. https://www.scheels.com/p/cuddeback-battery-power-bank/70086810003.html?gclid=CjwKCAjws7WkBhBFEiwAIi168xPZ5-PP0-OJGrr0MjlWbQj23JB8SZq4zDyU_DupTpOezwoux8U_ExoC7_IQAvD_BwE&src=hardlines

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

The t-post clamps are ok. I usually just make a post out of a big limb or branch and dig it in the a posthole digger and mount to those. There is also a genius mount that is already on a post. This is a good i option if you are not worried about theft and don’t have cows in the area...

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

Two of the networks I have are on properties between 40-80 acres. On these I have 3-5 cameras, and for me, that is enough. As previously stated, you will be fine with 16 or 32GB cards. You can probably set your link count higher, at 100 or higher if these aren’t over bait/feeders. I recommend...

😂 probably! I buy my Rayovac D batteries in bulk! https://www.ebay.com/itm/325645604019?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_HgYoDlcSBG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=qboi07vEQyS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

Another item to consider is battery life. I have every camera on a solar panel and/or a powerbank. Since I don’t like to touch the cameras during season, battery life is key. If you are not running backup power, set your delay longer to conserve vattery life (until you break down and buy solar...

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

The J and G cameras are limited to 32GB cards, but the L cameras are good to 256GB (as noted above). I have been using Cuddelink cameras for 4 years now and I mostly use 16 and 32GB cards with no issues. I have only had a card fill up once (I replace the cards in January or pull the cameras) and...

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

I have 4 systems and one of them has 18 cameras on it. I like to set my delay at 5 seconds for any camera on a path, that way if multiple deer are traveling together (as they often do), you catch more than just the first deer. On any camera over a scrape or salt, I set the delay at 15 seconds...

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

WhenI finally do update my L cameras, Can I do them piecemeal, or do I need to get them all at once? It is a big network and it takes quite a while to get to all of the cameras.

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

John, I see that my Tracks cameras updated to 1.4.0 firmware. Do I need to get that on all my Cuddelink L series cameras as well? I already updated them once with 1.3.0 and they seem to be working great.

I also have multiple home cameras on my camp account and I use the same channel for all of them in case I switch cameras between networks. Each of my networks are 10+ miles apart, so they don’t interfere with each other.

    Cuddelink L series Q & A

They don’t have the click from the filter, as the new L cameras have a new security grade IR-cut filter for silent operations.

    Cuddeback Tracks Questions

Correct, but I needed to pick when I set it up. Are you suggesting that it will bounce back and forth? Perhaps defaulting to the carrier I choose when I registered the camera?

    Cuddeback Tracks Questions

Does anyone know if you can switch from Verizon to AT&T as a carrier after you initially set up the camera? I move my cameras to different areas of the State and sometimes may need to make this change.

    Cuddeback Tracks Questions

I really like the new Cuddeback Tracks cameras. I have only had a chance to run the black and white version and I am hopeful that the IR and Black Flash produce the same quality images. I thought I would start a new thread for Tracks cameras.

    Cuddelink general Q&A recommendations

I recognize that the actual images on the camera’s memory cards will be the same, but I wasn’t sure that the low resolution images that the tracks camera sends to my email (which are awesome quality) would be the same as the L Cuddelink cameras send to my email. This is great news! The G and J...

    Cuddelink general Q&A recommendations

Does anyone have any of the new L series Cuddelink cameras out in the field? Are the sent images better resolution than the J and G cuddelink cameras? I know the L series have different firmware then the older cameras. I have been super impressed with the Tracks cameras low resolution pictures...

    Cuddelink general Q&A recommendations

I think what you are saying is get rid of the old non-cuddelink G cellular cameras and get tracks cameras.
