Has anyone ever planted a mix of Sorghum-Sudangrass and Soybeans? I've got a 3 acre area I'm hoping can serve as cover with the added benefit of some food value with the beans. And if the beans get overbrowsed it's not a big deal as I'll still have the cover of the sorghum sudan. Let me know...
And I'll say my favorite mix is a cereal grain, crimson clover, red clover, and daikon radish. Nothing fancy, good for the soil, and feeds deer almost year round.
Depending on where you live, you can probably find a local seed supplier. Just Google it. I have a great one in my small town who I use every year. I get great prices, don't pay shipping, and support local business. Best of all worlds!

Is it worth adding Berseem Clover to a mix this fall in Central Kentucky?
My seed supplier thinks it will probably winter kill and I tend to agree. The mix also will contain wheat, red clover, and a small amount of radishes. I love the quick growth berseem can put on in the fall and the...
Quick question for you all. I broadcast Hutcheson (non rr) soybeans yesterday before a heavy rain. I was not able to spray my Imazethapyr and glyphosate cocktail on the plot. I will be on my property again tomorrow and will be able to spray roughly 48 hours after broadcasting. Am I safe to...
