    Spraying Gly

I plan to spray cleth and gly (seperately, on different fields) tomorrow and the high is 53 (with light winds), but I know the weeds/grass have been actively growing for several weeks. I am not in a rush to get anything in, but I have help and a couple free hours so I am doing it. It just might...

    Chicken Coop build

We have one of the solar powered door on our coop and it has a timer that you can base on daylight percentage or set a time for it to close..saves alot of effort and I think it was like 40$ on Amazon..

    Repurposing mature trees

10/11 grafts seem to be waking up on the Franken-Stump (copyright pending) and 7/9 waking up on the massacred bradford..way better ratio than I have had in the past...just fertilized with 10-10-10 last night hoping for some growth to begin before I get a cage on it....

    Whitetail Crabs 2026

    Whitetail Crabs 2026

yeah those two are some of the slower growing ones for me for sure...but if they get fruit by year 3 or so I'm usually ok with it..they are on a south facing slope that used to be a hay field so in my mind they should all be 20' tall by year 3 haha

    Ontario Fishing recommendations

going into Canada with their ArriveCAN app was a total joke...we had to give them an ETA when we would reach the border crossing and we did...our little convoy of 3 trucks was the ONLY traffic going into canada at about 5 AM on a Saturday! the people whose cabins we rented absolutely hated it...

    Crabapple timeline

One of them was a three year in the ground Wolf River that I was expecting fruit on that year till I noticed it kinda tipping sideways an when I went to move it the whole dang thing popped out of the ground! My little guy was with me and may have learned a new phrase or two that day…

    Crabapple timeline

I’ve planted over 100 fruit trees from both WC and BH (and others) and had the grafts above ground in North Central PA and the only 3 trees I’ve lost in 5 years have been from stupid voles…

    Perched Water table

definitely make sure its not wetland..do a mix of mammoth red and alsike clover...ive had alsike submerged for a bit that just then popped back and thickened up and mammoth red is a good poor/wet soil choice also
