Has any body begun to field graft in southern Michigan or a similar 5b type of area? Some of my crabapples have begun to leaf out, but goldrush, enterprise and a few others have barely begun to bud swell. We have 0 nights forecasted to be below freezing for the foreseeable future
For those guys that have experience with these apples from sln, which would you choose if you could only have 1? How about if you could have 2? The biggest factors for me would be wildlife value, ease of growing, and vigor.
