    Privacy mirror film

Has anyone tried using privacy mirror film on their box blind windows? If so, how did it work out — was it worth the effort? My father has to move around quite a bit due to hip and back pain, and the large windows in his blind make it easy for deer to spot even small movements. I’ve already...

    Pruning new bareroot

I purchased some on sale bareroot apple trees that are leafing out. Leaves are about the size of squirrel ears. Is it okay to prune them as I would a dormant bareroot small apple tree. I usually remove all the branches and cut the stem down to 30 in.

    2025 pruning question

I would try to save the scrawny tree. I have cut back trees like that before with good results. You could cut off the trunk old main trunk just above the lowest shoot and take a few inches off the top of the shoot as well. That would give it a good chance at stimulating growth. Most likely...

    Pruning Philosophy.......

I have gotten the best growth from trees I have pruned aggressively at a young age. Red lines are removing whole branch and yellow lines are heading cuts about half the branch. Cut the top of central leader as well, which may put up 2 to 3 more and prune back to 1 in mid summer. IMHO

Foggy's Deertopia Proving Grounds - Happenings

I planted this strip by discing clover. I did not nuke it. It was a blend from deercreek seed, think it was Buck and Birds. I don't believe they have the same mix anymore but similar options.
