    Same buck

Color was Dec, night one is Jan, I saw that too. I'm leaning towards different, I'm hesitant because that would make these 2 different plus I have another one that's nicer and would make 3 quality bucks which is unusual.

    Same buck

Ok I know these pictures don't make it easy but I have a cam pic from early Dec and this one from late Jan. I can't tell if it's the same or different buck. Thoughts?

All my pics from Jan thru this past weekend still had both sides on. Our logger just started back up last week and I'm hoping to find a whole bunch of sheds in these fresh tops!

At the risk of sounding stupid....

You have been reading my mind, for yrs I've been thinking about this. Doing a burn is frowned upon in NY. Our wood lot is mostly mature oaks, maples, Ash and hickories the floor is a thick carpet of leaves. The challenge I believe is it becomes a pretty labor intensive job as I don't think the...

Trees. My plans and your input wanted

We have a fair amount of hemlocks which they love during heavy periods of snow and a mature block of white pines also. At some point I'll have to thin out the lower limbs.

Trees. My plans and your input wanted

Yeah at some point it will, I was waiting for them to get more mature, but now that I think about it I have no idea what the diff is:-)

    TSI and stump heights.

When we do tsi we just hinge cut them at around 3ft. I prefer that over just dropping them.

Trees. My plans and your input wanted

One thing I don't like about Norway's is they run branches right to the ground. We have a stand of probably 15-20 yr old trees, looks like great cover but they don't bed in them. Doing it over I'd plant pines where the lowest branch is 4-5ft off the ground and having some native grasses or...

    Plot begins

Yeah ur right, our guy does food plots full time so hopefully will be ok. Also I'm going to have him push most of the debris to the north and east side of the plot. East side will serve the purpose of screening them off down wind access and also will block screen the neighbors from seeing it...

    Plot begins

Yeah I think their could be but if I have to drop some more afterwards will be able to, always need firewood! Length of plot runs north to south fyi and they still have a lot more to take out.

    Plot begins

so there are a bunch of small diameter sized trees they don't want and yeah at some point after they finish logging they will doze the area. Cost wise it will cost between 750 and a grand to clear it. If you consider the price for the trees they removed in the plot there really is little to no cost.
