Wow, thanks so much for that detailed info. I did buy the gun new and it actually is 935. I will enjoy that manual and now have hope I will get to the bottom of this.
thanks again.
I have a 930 Mossberg thats never really cycled worth a darn. It's a turkey gun and I've been using it for a couple of years as a single shot, with TSS who's ever gonna need a second shot anywhays. Last year after the season I broke it down realy well and cleaned it, there was a surprising...
I used a saddle back when there was just one brand selling them and couldn't sit still for any length of time. I gave it a good go but could't get comfertable ever. Not everyone is gonna be able to use one, also you may have to sit in several different makes to find one that fits you corectly...
In the early days they would send your scent lok in a sealed plastic bag, there was hope that it might work then. Later it stared showing up in an unsealed bag and all hope was lost.
I don't know for sure but I don't think the young roots will survive the winter outside being in small pots. Insides not ideal either but probably thier best bet. You could bring them out on good days and shufle em back inside when its cold. But thier first winter may have to be indoors.
The earth smells different where it has been distubed (usually by someone walking) than where it hasn't been disturbed. A deer or a dog can pick that up no problem.
It's just a garmit now, probaly has uses but not as scent elemination. Even if taken care of very properly it will only be able to absorb odors for a small period of time. Maybe it can be rejuvinated a few times in a hot enough dryer but not indefinatly. There's all kinds of special...
I planted some purple top radishes on a no plow food plot, there's no access for equipment, but there is irrigation. The radishes germinated and sprouted real good but never really grew much, after about a month the leaves are still only about 1/8th to a 1/4th of an inch. The soil is pretty...
On a hulled and coated seed is 51% inert matter expectable. I thought the coating should only be around 18-16%
Does it have something to do with it being hulled? The seed type is Joint Vetch, for a southern food plot.
I did call the company about it from and they said 51% is normal for the...
Still trying to figure out this fertilizer deal. I got a soil test back from Whitetail institute and the only thing I need according to them is the "K" (potassium) for both the species I plan on planting. I guess I put out enough lime and everything else last year. I have no local farm co/op so...
Is there any benefit wo waiting later in the summer to plant vointvetch. I'm in N/W FL on a wet site and will be planting Vointvetch and Alsike clover. I'm hearing to plant from the first of Apr to the end of June. Last year I grew a good stand of Buckwheat in the summer but was unsuccessful...
As confusing as this seems, both answers #3 and #4 seem radically different however if you do the math with a 50 lbs bag of 10-10-10 I think with both answers you end up with 5lbs of N, 5 lbs. of P and 5lbs of K. If that is correct why do you have to handle a 50 lbs bag of something to get the...
I'm trying to figure out exactly how the fertilizer works and I can't seem to figure out why all three #s don't equal 100% is there more of all three ingredience in a 50 lb bag of 18-18-18 than in a 50 lb bag of say 10-10-10. For instance is there twice as much nitrogen, phosphate and potash in...
I finally got one and really enjoy it. Don't even need hearing protection while sighting it in. With my 243 it did change the point of impact but resighted it, no big deal. I have a couple acre property that's loaded with deer and hogs but isn't all that rural, no need in getting the neighbors...
