Had my new grafts against a wood pile in my yard. Will they pop back out new leaves or is this a killer to the graft? Putting them under the deck and protected right now.

I planted a honeycrisp in my yard this spring and this started growing. It was neat looking so I let it go. It's about 5 ft tall, thick, and has purple flowers like pumpkins do with a large female and small male flowers. It grows these large spiked balls that haven't opened yet.
