I have a couple small clover plots that I would like to put some fertilizer on, and was wondering what would be a good mix. I know I should do a soul test on them, but that's just not gonna happen right now. I allergen help.

Thanks for the replies guys, I have some ladino so Im happy to read it does good in sandy soil. Plan is to do as little tilling as possible and throw n mow the clover. I figure even if it takes a little extra seed, its worth it not to disrupt the existing root system.
So I have access to a trailer load or two of dried manure. I was thinking of mowing the plot, spreading it onto the plot about an inch thick, and planting my barasicas right into the manure. Its a smaller plot, about 2000 sq feet in the woods. Does this seem like a good idea? To answer a...
I have a small plot I will be putting barasicas down in about 2 or 3 weeks. We have a prediction of over an inch of rain tomorrow, so I was thinking of putting down some Urea tomorrow morning and letting it work its way into the soil. I assume that it will be around to help the barasicas later...
Well the germination test went great! 8 out of 8, 2 seeds fell out when putting in bag, of the soybeans sprouted, and 9 of 10 of the sorghum sprouted. Doesn't get much better than that. I got them planted last Saturday and we have gotten some decent rain, so we'll see what happens.
I don't remember ever reading that people spread winter rye into radishes and turnips in August, but I like the idea of that! How well does the rye germinate if the leaves from the turnips are big? Might have to give it a try this year.

I was able to find the info sheet on the seed mix. It says the grass only gets 3 to 6 feet tall. We'll see how the seed test goes, and if there is decent germination, I'll put it down with some Urea and see what happens. Thanks for your input guys!
