I shred a certain section of my miscanthus down yearly and then plow it up and use it for a rhizome source. It looks just like the rest of the miscanthus that same year that didn't get plowed up. I believe the life expectancy is way more than twenty years.

The recommended rate per acre is basically 2 quarts per acre. 1 pint sprayed twice to get to one quart per acre was a weak mix in my opinion. If it was cold temp it may still be working but will take a while to see full results.

Southeast NE, Fawn recruitment based on observation from sits this year is close to one per adult doe. In the previous few years it was between .25 to .50 dawns per adult deer.

I would think the warmer air from 6' down would rise, warming the water, the warm water would rise and the cold water sink, the warm air would cool and then sink, keeping a continuous cycle of warmer air and water moving. I'm going to test this theory this next year.
