    ATV exhaust silencer info

Just for giggles, I was looking at an ATV Segway, but $7000.00 is too much for my needs. They look like fun, however, the entrance to my hunting stand is on a side hill. All the videos I watched had the Segway running on level trails, not trails that sloped from left to right or visa versa. I...

    ATV exhaust silencer info

Thanks for the link. $187.99 is more then I am willing to spend, considering the consensus is the noise really isn`t that disturbing to the deer. That coincides with my own observations. I guess I was just looking for a reason I didn`t see any bucks this year. However, I saw plenty of doe.

    ATV exhaust silencer info

You may be right. I have been keeping track of the deer I see when I walk to my stand VS when I ride my 4-wheeler to within about 50 yards. There really hasn`t been much of a difference. I have also seen deer 15 minutes after parking the 4-wheeler, but they are usually yearlings. I just didn`t...

    ATV exhaust silencer info

I have been looking for an exhaust silencer for my Honda Rubicon. I have found they are very expensive and get poor reviews. Has anyone fabricated their own? If so, please give details on how you built it, and how well it worked. I do have basic welding skills.

Backpack sprayer for invasive brush control

I own both battery powered and pump backpack sprayers. Pump is fine for one or two tanks, battery is better if you need to spray more then that. I get 5 or 6 tanks out of one battery charge. That is about all my back can handle at one time anyway. The battery sprayer is somewhat heavier, but...

Planting corn and soybeans together in alternating rows.

Thanks for the Facebook link! I have a two row JD 7200 planter. I like the idea of filling one seed box with soybeans and the other seed box with corn. However, I don`t think I can set different seed populations on the two boxes. (maybe I don`t need to set them differently) I have never used a...

Planting corn and soybeans together in alternating rows.

I bought a JD planter, 30 inch between rows. Can I plant rows of corn, then go back again and plant soybeans between the corn rows, the same day? Giving me alternating rows of soybeans and corn spaced 15 inches apart. None of this will be harvested.

    All Day Sits!

Hunting is suppose to be fun! I sit until that little voice in my head says, I`m not having fun anymore, that is when I leave my stand. Sometimes it is three hours, sometimes it is five hours. Sometimes I relocate, sometimes I head for home. I have done all day sits in the past, and never...

    Permanent Stand Pics

Younggun, 24" X 12" should be big enough for rifle hunting. However, if you ever decide to become a crossbow hunter, 34" X 10" would be better. That way you can use 36" X 12" Lexan for hinged windows. That is what mine are, in the picture I posted.

Lexan is easier to work with and drill, then Plexiglas. I bought mine on E-bay.
