    best switchgrass for my area

Maybe hard to tell, but that is the switch screen view from the elevated blind. About 9' tall now and has a 5' walking path with about 21' 9f switch on each side. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

    Brassica size/planting method

Thanks guys. I'll mow what's there really short. Broadcast then culdipack and skip the flipping process. Appreciate the response. Saves me a lot of hours and headache

    Brassica size/planting method

Putting in about 11 acres of brassica tomorrow and curious if people see a size difference in the bulbs/plants between when they break up the soil with a disk//tiller, and just laying it on the surface of a sprayed field that has plenty of seed to soil contact?

    best switchgrass for my area

We do have one pit stop along the way that we sneak through it and into a ground blind on a clover plot. Feel like a ninja getting into that spot ! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

    best switchgrass for my area

These are long strips of pure SG for screening. This one is 880 yards long by 45' wide running past some better bedding cover (spruce and weeds) for our access to the back woods. I believe it's skinny enough and poorer bedding than other areas available that they do not use it at all. That was...

    best switchgrass for my area

I've planted blends, straight CIR, Blackwell, sunburst, etc. Unfortunately the most expensive stuff did way better Real World Switch grass won by a landslide for height, density, and stood up much better in the ice and snow. This is 2 yr old stand (2nd growing season) Sent from my SM-G970U...

a tip for planting a lot of seedling trees and shrubs in heavy clay

Very interested to see your experience with the 3 pt. After tilling/flipping. I had a bad experience last year in heavy clay with one. Bad conditions with dry clay. I blamed it on it being flipped because the chunks wouldn't seal good after the planter sliced and wheels tried to seal the slit...

Very funky. It was a match set. About 1 ' apart. The other side had a 26" main beam . Busted G 3 and 4 and had a 4" flier between the brow and G2. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Yesterday was by FAR my best day ever. Found 21, then another 5 today. Four match sets ! 10" of snow kept the critters off them for a change. (I found a couple more after the pic :-)) Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

    Tree Planters

Appreciate the replies. How does it work on normal farm field type dirt? Heavier dirt. Does it get a good seal on the trench it digs ? Thanks again. Starting to look for tractors :-)
