    They continue to impress me

I know in some states, the fish and wildlife departments are almost solely funded by license sales. Usually, non-residents pay a good bit more for a license than residents do. In some cases, residents who own the land don't have to buy a hunting license at all. I'm just glad I haven't been...

    Invasives to Natives

https://roundstoneseed.com/ I've been really impressed with their people, the amount of knowledge they have, and their seed supply. I've used them in Kentucky and Louisiana.

    .22 Quiet and Accurate ammo

It doesn't cycle now with the Quiets. I manually eject the casings. I was hoping for a flatter trajectory with not much of a difference in sound. I'm going to try your suggestion of muzzle inside with regular rounds.

I'm using a Ruger 10/22. Good idea about the shooting rest inside the window.

What should I plant on this field edge:

You may want to do edge feathering. It can provide food and cover. I would want to know what the alfalfa is being sprayed with before I plant anything right next to it.

    Is the alfalfa field yours?

Wardens have a tough job of enforcing regulations concerning the take of public property living on private property.

I bet a neighbor or someone called them on him. Knowing the area (my mom lives 20 minutes away from there), you don't see wardens around that often unless there have been complaints. But, they should have waited at the gate. I'd be pretty upset if anyone came driving through my property while I...

attracting turkeys / creating strut zones

I don't know if you could do it now, but burning sections of the CRP right before or during the season would probably pull some in.

    .22 Quiet and Accurate ammo

I've cleaned out the adults from this pond, but there are several juveniles left. I shot 2 from this group. I didn't include the last one in this video because it did flop around some. The video isn't that great because I had to zoom in pretty far with my phone.

Pretty cool how you can see him working that vine with his tongue.

    .22 Quiet and Accurate ammo

I'm not sure. I've shot 5 in the past week. I did sight them in at that range though. I'll see if I can get a video soon. They're terribly invasive and cause major destruction down here.

    .22 Quiet and Accurate ammo

I'm running out of what I've been using to shoot nutria in a suburban neighborhood pond setting. I need quiet and accurate ammo. I've been using the CCI Quiet-22 Segmented HP 22 LR ammo. They're 40 grains at 710FPS. I've been pretty happy with them. My shots are usually about 100 yards. Before I...
