My first Missouri turkey (first jake) very happy! Got him 15 minutes before end of shooting time.

Congratulations! What county in Missouri are you in. My place is in Crawford county and we haven't heard much in the way of gobbling. I haven't been out yet but hope to this weekend if the weather holds.

Thanks guys... Schuyler county. They've been gobbling, in the morning but not at night. They were getting Henned up and would shut up till about mid day. I am assuming the hens and toms were roosting very close to each other. Once the hens went to nest they seemed to be respondent to calling.

I personally think they're beautiful birds!
