Truax nut planter

I have a 3pt truax nut planter for sale in great condition

I have to ask. What the heck is a nut planter? Never heard of one.

Hope buckdeer1 doesn't mind me stepping in... it's a single row planter that will plant acorns or other large seed/nuts. Would be very handy for direct seeding rows of oaks or chestnuts.

Treat your soil,fill up hoppers and plant then you can thin as needed or move saplings

Came across this thread searching the web for nut planters. I'm working on planting oaks, walnuts, and hickories, along with other trees in an old pasture. So far, have been putting in bareroot seedlings, but this sounds interesting.

Did you find a new home for your planter yet? If not, I may be interested depending on location. I'm near Rockford, IL.
