The great rabbit hunt of 2018

Shared a great morning with my sons. Jeremiah and Judah each shot their first rabbit! And I got one that neither had a shot on. Great day to be a dad. Not a great day to be a rabbit.

Haha. He loves that gun for some reason. I had my bead on that rabbit forever before he finally pulled the trigger but he made it count!

Bunnies in the snow are my favorite thing to hunt ever...especially with my two boys. Some of my best childhood memories are bunny hunting with my Dad and Grandpa as a kid...first day of season and Thanksgiving morning were always the two biggest big days to hunt them then. Opening day of rabbit season my Dad always let me skip school for, same with most of the boys in our school, it sure isn't that way any more.

Fantastic. My fondest memories are of rabbit hunting with my grandfather. That is a picture they will always cherish. Very exciting for your boys and they will learn much more quickly about hunting and shooting game by small game hunting.
