Stump treatment

I have been using tordon but RTU in a quart bottle is expensive. Is there anything cheaper that is just as effective? Been treating a boatload of honey locust lately.

Try 41% gly cut in half. It works pretty well.

You can also do 1/2 gly 1/2 diesel. Just don't spill it all over :)

I've tried the gly but didn't work well for me. I'm back to tordon as I've had good luck. Rather spend a extra 5 bucks Than have box elder sprout back. However I never mixed it with diesel, just strait up with dye so I'd know if I missed a stump

I kill a lot of locusts with Remedy and diesel

I use straight Tordon. I have not found anything else to be as effective on stump treatment. I have killed 5 acres of black locust with Tordon. I do not find it to be that expensive as it does the job the first time every time. I buy mine from a local ag chemical supply company. I find the price to be reasonable and do not have to pay the WI 5.5% sales tax as it is for my farm so it is sales tax exempt.

I can’t buy the Tordon 22k without an applicators license. If I could I would go get it at noxious weed for half price.
